Picnic in the Park 2010

Saturday afternoon, 15 May, saw the third annual Picnic in the Park held at Victoria Park in Northampton's Castle Ward. Hundreds of people came along to sample the food, look at the stalls and take part in the activities which included juggling, Latin dance and Tai Chi workshops, a football shoot out, rock climbing, netball and a skateboard course. Music once again was provided by Inspiration FM, with DJs, Mark Dean, David Lewis, Aggie and Jerry Wright in attendance as well as members of the Spice Boys. The event was opened by Councillor Michael Hill, the town's outgoing Mayor.
